因?yàn)?ldquo;基因編輯嬰兒”成為輿論焦點(diǎn)的南方科技大學(xué)副教授賀建奎，剛剛結(jié)束了在香港第二屆國(guó)際基因編輯峰會(huì)的演講。

關(guān)于“脫靶”
After birth, both Sanger sequencing and deep sequencing did not detect intergenic off-target observed during PGD… For whole genome sequencing, we did 100x cord blood, and 30x other. No off-target was observed, genome wide. We also observed no large deletions using whole genome sequencing.
賀建奎在展示實(shí)驗(yàn)數(shù)據(jù)時(shí)提到，嬰兒出生后的各種檢測(cè)包括桑格測(cè)序和臍帶血檢測(cè)并未顯示任何脫靶現(xiàn)象，后期他的團(tuán)隊(duì)還會(huì)繼續(xù)跟蹤監(jiān)測(cè)是否出現(xiàn)脫靶效應(yīng)。

關(guān)于資金
He said he paid for medical care and expense for the patients personally. But the volunteer couples did not receive any extra money.
賀建奎還說參加實(shí)驗(yàn)的志愿者夫婦的所有醫(yī)療護(hù)理費(fèi)用也是由他個(gè)人負(fù)責(zé)。除此之外，志愿者夫婦并不會(huì)獲得額外的補(bǔ)助。
Some of the sequencing costs was covered by startup funding from his university. He denied that his company was involved in the project.
實(shí)驗(yàn)中的一些測(cè)序工作是由來自南方科技大學(xué)的啟動(dòng)資金負(fù)擔(dān)，賀建奎說道，但是他否認(rèn)自己的公司跟“基因編輯嬰兒”實(shí)驗(yàn)有任何關(guān)聯(lián)。
